Amendment of the Mining Law

According to the available information, the first mining law of Iran was in 1317 and after that three new laws were approved by the parliament in 1336, 1362, 1377.

In 1390, the Law on the Amendment of the Mining Law was approved by the Parliament, and in all these laws, the classification of minerals has been discussed in the basic articles.

This classification is important and has rights because things such as exploration rights, the area of exploration license and exploitation license, the amount of government rights, the assembly of safety regulations and the employment of a technical officer in the mine are initially dependent on the production of minerals.
Minerals are also classified in terms of chemicals and use in industries. It is the seventh decade in Iran’s mines.
