By the decree of the Minister of Silence, Mohammad Reza Mohtaqinia, the head of IMIDRO’s board of directors, was removed from his position and Mohammad Aghajanlou was appointed as the head of this organization.
During about a year when Moteghania was the head of IMIDRO’s board of directors, he did not even hold a press conference and it is not clear what his achievements were in this important position. Experts considered him lacking the necessary qualifications to manage this organization.
Aghajanlou was the deputy and senior executive advisor to the head of Imidro’s board of directors during the period of Motheqinia’s presidency. He is a graduate of Materials Engineering and Metallurgy from the Technical Faculty of Tehran University in the master’s degree. He was also the CEO of National Steel Company of Iran and the Deputy Director of Imidro Mining and Mining Development Projects.
